January 2026 Content Calendar
NEW YEAR, WHO DIS???
Okay, okay, it's not a new year YET, but it's quite literally knocking on our door and will be here SO SOON. Which also means Wave Season is virtually here. My hope is always that this calendar helps you, but even more so in this busy holiday season while prepping for Wave Season. Without further ado...
As always - take what you need & skip what doesn’t align, mix and match things, change what days you do things! Keep in mind that on this calendar, the "urgency and action" (the hard selling post of the week) is always on Wednesday. Studies show Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday are the best days to push for that sale. :)
Connection - to build trust and warmth
Objection-Busting - to clear up myths and doubts
Education & Expertise - to showcase your value
Urgency & Action - to drive decisions
Proof - this is your social proof, your client testimonials, your "hey, I'm really good at this and here's why" moment.
The fun thing about this is that it can be tailored to quite literally ANY destination or any specialty/niche. Even with following the same formula/idea list, I guarantee no two people will have the same content. Sit with it for a little while, brainstorm how you can make it yours and how you can make it fun for your audience.

Tip of the Month:
Plan with the season, not the stress.
What this looks like in practice:
Start Spring Break conversations early.
Frame it as:
“If you’re traveling in March, January is your final chance at calm-before-the-chaos planning window.”
This reduces pushes urgency while reducing decision fatigue and elevates your authority.
Encourage early Summer 2026 planning
January = dream mode.
“If you want first pick of resorts + the best prices, this is when we start 2026 planning.”
Share monthly seasonal updates
“Here’s what’s happening this month at WDW, Universal, and Disneyland (and how it impacts your trip).”
🧠Why this works đź§
January is when families:
– feel overloaded from post-holiday craziness and getting back into routines
– crave simplicity
– are open to structure and guidance
– want something to look forward to
– don’t want to make another complicated choice
When you help them “plan with the season,” you reposition trip planning from a chore → to a natural next step.
It taps into the brain’s desire for fresh starts and certainty, which makes them more likely to book now.
